Veronica Guerin Turley Memorial

“My friend Graham asked if we could simulate a page of the Independent Newspaper as a fitting memorial for Veronica. Graham wanted to have a photograph of Veronica on the memorial. We manufactured the headstone at Blessington and decided to ask Funeralcare, CWS, our largest customer in the UK ( who are specialists in this technique ) to transfer the photograph to stone. Time was short but they made an expert job of the lettering and photograph. Les Thompson, the Masonry manager of Funeralcare Memorial Masons Glasgow, met Paul Ryan at Stranraer port in order to meet the 1st Anniversary of Veronica’s untimely death.”
